The 2013 Crosstour is one model of the first car manufacturer Honda is available with the new Smart Entry keyless start with Push Button. The 2013 also comes LaneWatch Crosstour Honda ™ blind-spot display, which uses a camera system mounted on the passenger mirror to provide an enhanced view of the road behind the passenger-side. Other standard visibility-enhancing features include rearview cameras and newly re-shaped rear headrests.
The new Earth Dreams ™ available 3.5-liter, 24-valve SOHC i-VTEC ® V-6 engine uses Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) to maximize efficiency, which allows the engine to run at 3 or 6 cylinders, depending on engine load and speed. For 2013, the power output increased to 278 horsepower at 6200 rpm, 7-hp advantage over the 2012 Honda Crosstour V-6. Output torque peak now £ 252-ft. at 4900 rpm with a broader spread of torque. The result is a machine that is more responsive throughout the rev range that drivers use every day, combined with a better peak power for quick acceleration, passing, and climbing value. New Crosstour V-6 6-speed automatic transmission also includes a new steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters.
Fuel efficiency for V-6 also increased significantly, by now reaching an EPA-estimated city / highway / combined fuel economy rating 20/29/23 mpg on 2WD Crosstour models and 18/28/22 mpg for the Honda Crosstour EX -L with Real Time ™ 4WD. Compared to 2012 Crosstour 2WD V-6, this is an increase of 2 mpg in city / highway / combined fuel economy.
2013 Honda Crosstour to go on sale in the United States on 20 November 2012, with prices beginning at $ 27,230.
